Has anyone else watched Jam and Jerusalem? I have been sky+'in it and am watching episode two tonight. Anything with Jennifer Saunders in it gets my vote (I think I might have an unexpected older women crush on her) but this is really excellent. Episode two is even better than I was expecting and there have been a few times where I have been giggling away despite watching it myself in my now common Sunday night slump. Special mention has to go to the fact that within a few moments of having me laughing my head off at the conversation about Jennifer Saunders' husband using social networking sites, i was nearly crying* at the oh so simple and understated scene of them watching the video message. Top stuff. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it.

It's a cola made by Pepsi where they rabbit on about it being all natural ingredients and no added anythings.

Tastes weird. But probably in a good way.

It tastes like cheap watery shit.

You want posh Cola? Buy Fentimans.

Hartridges Cola (now only sold in some pubs) - 755 Bananas
Pepsi Raw - 617 Bananas
That strange cola I had on Malta in 1991 - 602 Bananas

Fentimans is more expensive.

BUT!

It is called 'Curiosity Cola', which makes it automatically about 1000% cooler.

It's more expensive but that money isn't going to some evil sinister megaglobal corporation. I suspect it also costs a darned sight more to make. Remember, Fentimans is brewed. Pepsi Raw on the other hand is still just a load of ingredients in a vat.

As if to prove a point, I've been drinking Fentimans Cola for over 5 years now and no two batches taste the same. I've had a lovely strong bottle just now (well two actually!!!). I've also had weak bottles as well as some that tastes quite odd! They do seem more consistent these days though.

For all the claims Pepsi make every one of their cans will be identical because its still just a load of ingredients in a vat.

I've been watching this and I agree... It's great Sunday night TV! There's some really funny lines in there made funnier by people like Jennifer Saunders delivering them! It's great.. but it finished tonight.

Here's a little job for some of you. I'm doing some editing at the moment. I'm looking at one shot and am wondering if anyone would actually notice something.

Take a looky at this still:

The only odd thing I noticed was that somehow that tortoise has motion blur.

They move surprisingly fast! Not helped with the fact they due to the lighting I was shooting at a 1/25 shutter speed which means pretty much everything motion blurs. But sticking in a couple of KW of lighting presents all sorts of H&S problems so its better to just cope with what you have and compromise a little bit.

Persistent animal that tortoise and it weighed 4 stone! Kept on trying to make a break for it and didn't stop moving the entire time I was there. I can now easily understand that people find tortoises miles and miles from home when they escape. The might only move slowly but they just don't stop.

I had a San Miguel (66cl bottle from Tesco, not the filth pubs serve) last night, and was surprised by how very delicious it was.

I had two bottles of it last night and kept MrsA awake by sneezing and sneezing and producing snot. Consequently, I'm knackered now, and in the doghouse.

I really enjoyed it as well. I do remember trying to watch a bit of the first series and hating it, though, so I'm not sure if that's because the writing's got better or becuse I was a big Mr Sillyhead the first time round.

No, you did get a response. I said "What the fuck is it?", and you didn't answer. So I didn't bother watching it.

I'm getting quite concerned as I don't thin I drank that much last night, but cannot, for the life of me recall what happened in True Blood.

This is what I recall:
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Apart from it was the grandmother's funeral, Jason seems to be addicted to V and Sookie got her tits out and fucked Bill?

Time to knock it back a notch, I reckon.

I didn't necessarily mean a story involving *you* snogging a colleague, mate - but if that's where your mind went I can only assume guilt. ;)

That is pretty much all that happened. Still, first time outing for Sookie's norks so it wasn't all that bad. Other tiny bit that happened in that episode that you may/may not remember;

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Bill also fed off Sookie during the romantic knobbing scene

As for your booze related memory problems, lay off the crack chasers perhaps?

Dark Sector - 360

This is cheap everywhere (£6.99 in Morrisons) so I thought I'd take a punt as I half remembered a decent review of it in EDGE.

So far...

The intro level is so grey, so very very grey and very generic fps. THEN you get all spazed and shit and everything ramps up, including the colour :metul:

Gameplay and 'feel' wise it's Resident Evil 4/5* meets Gears of War**. Its USP though is the Glaive (like that thing from Krull) lovely and slicey.
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
It evolves early on and you can hold down RB when it's released to follow its flight path and alter its course in slo-mo. This can be beautifully nasty at times :metul:

Some great atmospheric effects and the combat is meaty and satisfying***

I'm not totally OMFG over it but it isn't dog shit, I'll report more when I'm further in. :hat:

*Spooky atmosphere, weapons shops/upgrades similar

**Cover system

***Like Mr Dave
