Best thing to do by the sounds of it love, she shouldn't be giving you mixed signals though as that's unfair. Time apart will either make or break it, but at least you'll know where you stand and that's most important as too'ing and fro'ing isn't fun or fair.

I hope everything turns out okay though x

Well, to be fair to her, she is trying not to give me mixed signals. She maintains that we're finished and can only be friends at the very most, as long as doing is sustainable without being too weird. I only know through a mutual friend and through her brief, upset outburst last night that she's every bit as cut up about our breakup as I am, it's just that she can't get her head around this situation I'm in.

It's fucking shit, to be truly honest with you. To know that a lapse of judgement that I made one night, a single mistake that happened whilst I was actually single and not attached to anyone could cause such utter fucking misery and I've only got myself to blame for it. It would be safe to say that I have truly learned my lesson, and will refrain from sexual encounters with vaguely psychotic ex-girlfriends in future, however much they assure me such encounters would be "just fun" and "mean nothing".

But hey, Fallout 3 really is good. Okay, it really is just a re-skin of Oblivion, but that combat is so much better and the boredom factor has been significantly reduced.

Dimrill - It's Amy. She's always been a naughty little thing one way or another!

Zio - she's two and a half, so pretty much middle aged for a piggy.

Good God I feel like the mother of a baby. I'm up stupidly early to give Amy her morning "feed". She's got a couple of very small thin poos stuck to her bum, which is more than she's done for a couple of days, so at least I know I've managed to put something in her system. Apparently guinea pig's systems shut down very quickly so I'm quite pleased. Also she started to struggle slightly when I forced food down her, which hopefully means she's a little stronger.

Fingers crossed she makes it through the next 12 hours until I can get her to the vets!

It's rough Mr.Z and I'm sorry to hear it :(
Don't really know what else to say tbh-just hope things get sorted one way or another

Ange-Hope the pig is okay, we used to have 5 and 7 rabbits in a mahusive shed-type thing and they were great :D loved 'em. Have you checked her teeth?? We had a problem with Galaxy and Gizmo like that and it was their teeth in the end, weird :s

Talking about teeth-I've decided to say 'fuck it' to the root canal and say 'try and take the fucker out' because the pain last night was unbearable! Stupid, stupid tooth! This is the only problem I've had with my teeth for about 8 years, bastard thing :(

Edit: Also-my friends just made his new album and it sounds good....but not as good as the one before. I told him no more screamy gargling-ness!

Yuh huh! It's like a bog standard name I think for one, she was so cute ^.^* Galaxy and her were sisters-I love Guinny's, they squeak and make that funny 'chhhrrrrrp' noise (may not actually go like that, haven't had one for years!) and then there was Chubbles-he was a great fat one! Aaaah they were ace

I had a check on Amy before I left for work and she seemed a bit perkier than she has been. I can't even go to the vets with Ange because I'm stuck at work until 6. :(

Poor Ange :( I hope the Pig's better after the vets. It's not very old, so hopefully it'll be something easily solved. I hate it when pets are ill, they can't tell you what's wrong >.<
Soots is all better now, I shall try and get to Devon again soon and see her and the rest of the moggies and mummy.

Why do you wrap Guinea Pigs in gaffa Tape?

So they don't burst when you (SNIP! That's quite enough of that - Vetinary Ed).

All done, stapled and plagiarism form filled in. having not written a legal essay before, I'm pleased that it is a practice one with decent feedback, but I am quite happy with it, and didn't feel the need to end it with "SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!". Quick smoke and it's off to the office.

I have an old, fake, surround sound speaker system... Are the middle speaker box things designed to sit on top of TVs or will the magnets inside the speaker screw around with my picture?

I'm too scared to put it on top to find out as I don't want to damamge my telly. Ayone got any ideas? Surely if you couldn't do it there would be a warning sticker on there somewhere?!?

Can't you place it below the TV in the stand/cabinet somehow?

They're not designed to sit on top (LCD tvs would need lots of Blutack) as such, if they're cheapo there's a good chance they're not shielded.

I am guessing you have a CRT TV, as I don't think LCD TVs would be affected by magnets, would they?

The stand is full of consoles so it won't fit.. unless it goes on the floor and then it may look a bit lame.

It is a CRT TV too with enough space to fit it on.. but I don't want it to break so I don't think I'm going to risk it.

It would be nice to have though.. I'm sure there's a way. What if I put a metal piece inbetween the TV and the speaker? Wouldn't that magnetically shield it?

This looks like a job for Google!!

it would need to be a Farday cage, as otherwise it would "leak" around the edges.

This may be inadvisable but just try gradually moving it near the telly and see if it causes any colour problems, I've done stuff like this before and got away with it as long as I moved whatever it was away again as soon as I saw a problem. I'd have thought it would be designed to be placed safely near a telly even if it's a fairly cheap one.

My father-in-law's a truck driver (amongst other things) so the missus was distinctly no-plussed about the "murder a prostitute" running gag. And didn't the Parky interview go on forever? I suspect something was taken out of the program and they had to fill the gap

Elephant.co.uk have just price matched an amazingly cheap car insurance quote saving me £105. . . score!

Then;

I asked to add Mrs The Egg onto the already price matched policy . . .and despite having a license for less than a year the premium dropped again . . . by another £80 . . double score!!

This sort of thing doesn't happen to me very often on account of me being a complete cunt

So 15 mins on the phone to the delightful Brandy saved me £185 ti-fucking-dy.

Which I shall promptly spend on Haribo and rum!

Trucker you say?

I took Amy to the vets. They're keeping her in overnight and they're going to sedate her and have a look inside her mouth tomorrow.

Sedating such a small animal isn't without its risks but its either that or watch her starve to death :(

Glad they are keeping her though, best place for her to be. Hopefully it'll be something minor-sounds like maybe a mouth abscess/tooths grown too long or something, had that with my two.

Lets hope she's okay tomorrow anywho

I just found out that the guy in the flat below me is an actor in 'The Bill'.

Sadly, I don't watch 'The Bill'. Or know anyone in it who isn't one of the old classic characters... who are mostly dead these days.

But he can't be one of the dead ones as he got in a fight with another guy in this block about making too much noise. Unless the fight went really badly for him, I guess.
