Cheers for the game, chaps, but all the reasons I stopped playing it for so long came rapidly flooding back and I remembered I don't actually like it that much.

Some amusing fun nonetheless, but I wish we could play something else shootery for bezzie amusements.

It was lots of fun, especially the headquarters matches, but I do agree that I think it's finally past it's best, longevity-wise.

Nah, it's the new Counter-Strike. I expect I'll be playing it for years to come.

The couple of Domination matches were particularly fine, the one that went right down the last few seconds and the one where whatever team I wasn't on came back from 150-ish to nothing to win. But that was good CoD all round I felt.

I never really pigged out on it like a lot of your guys (note that I am still only level 30-odd, with no prestige) so I'm not bored of it yet.

New Bezzie shooter = Unreal Tournament 3 as soon as it drops below a tenner?

I'm also only level 30 odd. I don't mind playing it, but to be honest it's only the Bezzies that draw me to it so if everyone drops it I expect I will too.

Unreal Tournament 3 for less than a tenner would be a thumbs up from me.

Halo 3 is awesome on 4 Bezzie Legendary Campaign mode. Multiplayer is a little soft after CoD4.

UT3 is pap though, really pap.

We need something new... even Dimmers is so sick of CoD4 he just hides and then leaves out of sheer boredom.

The Map editor is awesomeness for multiplayer friend action as there is already so many maps out there you can get which are awesome. And if you can't find one you like, you can make your own/tweak someone elses!

But we won't be able to lie down in the bushes together.

How many can play?

I think I benefitted a lot from having a three-month break from it. Since I've come back to it, it's finally clicked and I think that being a bit better at it has made me enjoy it more. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to bum it hard in the arse like Curio and Bobby, but I'm enjoying playing it about three times a week at the mo.

I'm quite happy to go back to Halo (Scarysheep has kindly lent me his copy) or play something different, however. I've never played an Unreal Tournament game before, but I've heard it's very quick and twitchy - not sure if it'd be for me.

I plan on getting Far Cry 2 at some point, but not until it drops to about £25. I've just picked up the first Rainbow Six Vegas game, so if anyone fancies some co-op with me and itsallwater then let me know.

There were some epic battles last night guys, cheers. My mate (PunkRockElite) enjoyed herself once she got over the shock of jumping straight into a private match with chat about bumsexing

Shut it, tart. I had a positive k/d ratio on every game last night apart from one. I used to be satisfied with just breaking even every now and again.

CoD4 is still awesomes, though I haven't played it in a while. I'm still more than happy for multiplayer goodness any time people see me online.

That said, FarCry 2 has a good online mode. It's perhaps not quite as polished in all aspects as CoD4, but it's still really good fun. For instance, you can:

Drive jeeps!
Blow shit up!
Fly a hang glider!
Baseball slide off the edge of a cliff, to your doom!
Drive a jeep off the edge of a cliff and somehow survive!
Drive boats!
Pull bullets out of your arms/legs with your teeth and/or a knife and some tweezers!
Go swimming!
Use a flamethrower!

I'm REALLY loving the M16A now. I think it's my favorite, apart from the µUzi, as that's bonkers mad. I got a +ve k/d ratio yesterday, and went evens just now on Chinatown. It takes me about 2 rounds to get my eye in, and then I improve. Sadly, after round 3, I get booted off the telly.

M16A + ACOG + Desert Eagle in Hardcore is excellent fun. I like Hardcore Team Deathmatch.

M16a with Red Dot Sight and Stopping Power is the bestest.

Hell, yeah. I use 2x RPG and Stopping power and deep impact. I think I use smoke grenades as well, as it's amusing. I wish there was different colored smoke, though.

I use Last Stand (Sooo many kills!) and Claymores (Sooo many kills!).

I like to barricade myself in to places, so I can't get shot in the back whilst I'm preying on the fools who walk into my Killzone.

Apparently not.

I don't like the ACOGs - they obscure the screen too much for me when in a busy fluid fight.

I used to use the ACOGs, but I think I prefer the red dot, overall.
