The biggest problem I had was that I was riding as a junior, which meant I was limited to a 72" gear and it was quite hard to maintain enough speed to be able to lean over on the curves, so my right pedal was frequently catching on the track, even with short track cranks.

I remember the first time I thought I'd ride around the top of the curve, just for a bit of fun. It scared the shit out of me and I never did it again, always stayed as low as possible after that.

But then I have to agree because all the nonsense of floor and horse gymnastics with "artistic" arm flapping can get bent.

Not enough people are talking about the awesome Gojira performance during the opening ceremony. I almost missed it.

It's a shame that the Aussie contestant has been getting a load of hate on social media. There's no need for it.

If she could lean in to it, there's possibility she could really deliver some hilarious performance art/trolling antics. But I have a suspicion that she takes herself a little too seriously which, combined with being not very good, is something people love to rip the piss out of.
