This is the thread where you type any old shit that doesn't really fit into an existing thread and you don't think deserves to have one by itself. I think.

Dear new fish,

This thread is mostly full of nonsense. Things that people feel are too inconsequential to start a new thread for. Once in a while though someone, like Davydd there, will say something important that requires attention and understanding. You never know when something like this will be dropped into the Bits n Bobs thread, so pop back often, though be prepared to wade through nonsense if you do.

Davydd - XxXxXxX

Sorry to hear about all that Mr. D. Grimm, I do sincerely hope getting away for a bit does you some good. It sounds like you need some extremely good vibes at the moment.

I blame the train bit on the fact I'd watched a Youtube video of trains at Cardiff Central earlier (yes, I know, why not just look out the office window you crank, etc etc) and so it was one of these that rolled eerily into the station. The station itself still had power (all the departure boards were working still) and it was clear there was power for the signals and such as well, as they'd been able to route the train in.

In the end, we'd decided to stay there with the other people until we figured out what to do next. The guy in the suit just wanted to go to work and act as if nothing had happened.

Someone with my name was a regional director of NTL northwest, and there's someone else who's a bit of a cricket player, neither of which are me. I consider myself the most famous person with my name ;)

As I said in IM, and present now for general amusement, I think you should turn up there that day with some solid ID. "Hi, yeah, I'm Matt? I won the contest. No, I didn't received the tickets, must have been a mixup. Yeah I'm here to crack wise with the cast. No, I don't know who that shouting bloke in hiking boots back there is."

Except that the people at the studios will have no idea who you are and will have no record of your name, as they just go by who's got a ticket.

For the filming yes, but to get into the Green Room? I don't think that's true, I suspect it'd be down to a guest list not a ticket.

I just managed to smash a wedding present by accident.

It was a big glass vase thing. I put it on the side, opened the cupboard to get some tea and knocked a jar of coffee that fell into it and smashed it.

Bugger and arse. I liked it as well!

Also I was very ill this morning, probably to do with worry so when Gaz gets in to his there may be tears and snot on the sofa

I'm such a classy bird

Fuck I love Monster Munch. The way they start good and then get better as you get nearer the end of the pack due to the flavouring falling to the bottom. There's something poignant about that; you're in crisp heaven, but you know that with every increasingly blissful mouthful the end is drawing nearer.
I've just devoured a packet of roast beef flavour and now I'm on a sort of comedown because those blissful few minutes are over. It almost feels like coming back from an awesome music festival and knowing that you've got to go back to work tomorrow. :'(

Bizarrely, they now make Wotsits in Flamin' Hot and Prawn Cocktail flavour. What's wrong with the old beef ones? They were my favourite.

Maybe Roast Beef with a little Peri Peri sauce would make a good substitute?

We needed to get it out of the red, or Dave would have gone crazy apeshit bonkers with drills and sex otherwise. Ranked multiplayer wins for the points.

I played Dukematch the other night. I swear, the game was NOT THIS FAST on the PC... and what's worse, everyone runs which makes the shotgun worthless.

Anyway, off to my parents' house in St Alban(ia)(s) for the weekend. Woo!
