Shame these are on the PS3 and not 360 as these are possibly two of the best games I own.

It's worth saying these are probably permanent prices, as both these titles are in the PS3's new Platinum budget range. And Ramsea is right, these are both excellent games.

The Game Sale has a lot of great stuff.

I can confirm that Xbox 1's are £9.99 - which is incredible. Though mine didn't have any.

I did (thanks to Mr Grinch) get a 2nd hand copy of Paper Mario for £12.98

And I got a new copy of (the flawed) Beautiful Katamari for £12.98 too. Which is the lowest I've seen it, and makes the fact half the content on the disk is locked till I pay more that little more acceptable. Though I'll doubt I'll get that on principle.

They were also clearing out unboxed games - and I got Scurge the Hive (isometric metroid a like) for 99p.

CUS, from what I can find out about it, it's only the writing on the back of the box that's not in English, and everything else is indistinguishable from a UK release (if there was one).
At a glance, the extras seem to tie up with the Region 1 edition, but I haven't compared them in detail.

Lace, even if there isn't a stereo English option, I think the English 5.1 would still sound ok. Have you got any dvds that you can try out and set the audio track to 5.1 and see if they still sound alright?

Had an email from cd-wow today, they've decided they're out of stock.

Went into Gamestation earlier. All their remaining Dreamcast, PS1 and Megadrive games were 50p each. I think this has been mentioned, but I don't recall seeing mention that it applies to other dead formats too.

My local Game and presumably the rest of them added more stuff to the sale.
I ended up getting Burny Pee for £15 and Crackdoon for a fiver, both preowned.

Possible pricing error, so be quick if you want to grab it. Preorder of Sacred 2:Fallen Angel on Xbox 360 for £17.99 RRP £44, so I suspect you could make some pennies trading this in instantly if you don't like it.

Blockbuster (in store) are having a bit of a sale for their 'new' titles , and have things like Gears of War and Halo 3 for 9.99 , lost planet for £12.99

They have also juggled around their pre-owned lists and the 5 for £25 now includes :

Viva Pinata
Blue Dragon
The Darkness
Bullet Witch

They have also moved some of the more expensive games down into the 2 for £18 bracket

Worth checking out if you have a blockbuster nearby.

More likely your blockbuster is excellent.

Sadly that means they sold them before they had to discount them ;)

Strange I have 3 nearby and they all have at least Gears and 2 of them have Halo , i'd offer to get them but by the time you add on postage its not worth the hassle :-(

I went into the 3rd one near me today and picked up a set of the 2nd hand 5 for 25 ones although typically i was really struggling for a final title :

Vampire Rain
Project Sylpheed
Shadowrun
Stranglehold
Golden compass

Yes i know the golden compass is suppose to be rubbish but it was either that or buy a dupe of another and try to sell it on.

BTW some others in the 2 for £18 include gears and halo 3 (so if you dont mind 2nd hand then they are 9 quid each) and mass effect (which i picked up last week for a tenner from Argos)

I paid that much from the PlayTrade bit of Play.com's website (like Amazon marketplace). It's a bit of a shonky site but it's probably legit.

Any from people who actually bought it.

These codes are often scams, they're one month trials but you won't realise this till it stops working in a month and by that point they've gone.

Doesn't the Xbox 360 say that it's a month trial when you first input the code? I could be wrong though..

If it's any help, I have bought some points off gamesbite! They emailed the code through which worked fine. They sent the actual card through the post as well a couple of days later! That was nice.

I'd use them again, it is a good saving on the RRP and I like a bargain!!

I spent about that on my renewal from a place off eBay. Code added a year to my Live sub expiration date when I used it.

Well, as I said, I paid £29.33 from Play Trade back in April[/url]. However, the seller I used, GamesBite, had some huge amount of feedback, 20k+ positive. I note that none of the sellers there now have more than a few hundred. There is a seller, "gamesbiteltd", who isn't the one I bought from by the looks of things. That sets off alarm bells.

Still, check the T&Cs, but I suspect you get good consumer protection with PlayTrade or Amazon Marketplace.

Edit -- just realised the PlayTrade seller I used, GamesBite, is the site you linked to! So in that case, yes, I can recommend them. I had my code emailed within minutes and it worked fine.

Have just bought from "smartlogistics" at play.com's playtrade thingy - hopefully I won't get stiffed, eh? 190 positive so should be ok.

Except Play seem top be having problems with my debit card today, although hsbc deny they've had a request for authorisation.

That's a total barg. The D40 is well known to give great jpegs out of the camera, and does well for noise being (relatively) low megapixels. It would be Sheer Madness to buy a "bridge" camera if you can get a D40 for less.
