That's brilliant! I don't think the novelty of pressing the button to make it go up and down would ever wear off!

He is so wrong on many levels.

I bought something off Aliexpress with an American plug on it. It came with this adaptor which, as far as I can tell, is absolutely useless.
100%. Without the earth prong, the other holes don't open up. Well, they're not supposed to anyway!
bloody brexit!
It's amazing that there's a factory somewhere in the world that's making these. You'd have thought someone would have said something?
Just use a screwdriver for the earth pin. Do I have to think of everything?!

In my experience of factories etc etc...

It's one-third less painful to step on.

Sadly, this is actually the answer.

And that was what got one of my ex-employer's engineers fired when he did it on a client's premises.
This big slab of a book is 'Gamesmaster: The Oral History'. I ordered it on Kickstarter and I've been really excited to receive it. It tells the story of Games master series by series and so far, it's brilliant.
Mine hasn't arrived yet :(

But! It will have Dommy's signature in it.

Nor has mine (although I'm at work today, so it might be there when I get home). They have just released an update saying that they're being pretty slow at sending them out.
I should be in there somewhere too ;)

Snap!

Only the non-signed one for me. I couldn't afford the reward tier offering a bit of the cross he failed to get crucified on, alas.
Who would have thought that a forum such as this would have so many Gamesmaster fans?
This also falls into the category of "stuff I backed and completely forgot about".

This book is ace! I can't put it down.

I've just got to the infamous Dave Perry/Mario 64 incident but I've got to go out so I shall look forward to reading that when I get back.

A massive thumbs up from me.

What a great moment of TV that was. Great way to prick a balloon sized ego
From what I've read over the years, both of them (Dave and Dominik) were being utter pricks. They did do Dave proper dirty, but then he was being a prick, so

Cheap cotton antimacassar. Went for a light green to contrast with the deeper green of the chair. Didn't want anything too frilly, and I think the railway company would object if I swiped one from a first class carriage.

Who would do such a thing?

I've finished the book now and it was great, especially this bit.

You've pretty much summed it up there!
Oh huh I bought a thing
Pretty car!

I hope you have bought some fluffy dice and a magic tree to celebrate.
Hope they're chucking an MOT in for you, it expires in a month!
Yeah taking it back in next week for the MOT.

Oh no, the scrapyard took the strawberry unicorn in the old car!
Did you already have a car? I didn’t know you could drive/were a driver.

I did - I went through a few years of thinking I could manage without one, but got fed up of that in, uh, 2017

Oh! :D

Well, I hope the new ride is lovely. I think we had a car like that in a slightly more raspberry colour but it was stolen. Obviously they’re a hot commodity.

Not sure what a strawberry unicorn is but I’m mad you don’t have it because it sounds aces.
Some cupboards and stuff.
Ooh, your kitchen is huge and lovely!

Gaz, when are we sorting our kitchen?
Lovely colour combo
I like the angled tiles in the splashback
Also featuring in “things I forgot I ordered…”
Luggage tags, in Munich.

Where's mine?
Waterproof winter webs
I got drunk and accidentally bought this, let's hope I don't break the screen first week on this one.
Just ordered a new iPad Air, the 2022 Model. I was waiting to see what the new Pro would bring, but the dire exchange rate has meant big price rises.
Apple have added £110 to the Air, but it’s still available at the old price at John Lewis so I got in quick.
Small radio and LED lantern. Both powered by AA batteries, just in case...
