I definitely will find a use fir it, but it would look awful against the pink. Maybe I can paint some of the inside of the shed as it’s currently black.
<something about orange is the new black>
Zardoz - I can't wait to see that transformation, it's going to look amazing!

Mimi - those pots againt the shed will look lovely. I hope you have lovely weather following your delivery. :)
Your garden will look awesome...
You can get a genuine cabinet for MAME conversion from the UKVAC Facebook group for under £100 if you are lucky.
Hello. I k ow I keep posting pictures of my busted old shed, but it makes me super happy, and every time I add a bit to it, it makes me feel great. Russell cleaned and repaired the broken base of this wooden trough planter I found discarded somewhere, so I painted it with the yellow that did indeed arrive as promised, and today I’ve put a liner in it, filled it and planted some Night Phlox (pretty white flowers that smell strongly of sugared almonds at night time) and something else that came free with an magazine.
That looks lovely..

Fight!
That was one really hideous pair that I sent back :)

No, I know the shed is silly. If it were a decent shed I’d make it look a lot more sedate and subtly pretty, but it’s in a terrible state snd I think I just need to get this out of my system. I’ve lived with magnolia walls everywhere for a decade. Darwin loves it, too, and that really helps.

It’s so dark inside (painted black) that I must paint in there as well.
I love the bright pink.. it is awesome.
I agree.

I don't think it looks silly at all no matter what it's age or state. It looks happy. :)
It wasn't an insult, it looks great Mimi.
I did didn’t think it was, Zardoz :luv: I don’t know why I feel the need to justify it. It’s just my anxiety being the horrible voice that it loves being x
I made a thing. It's just a square table with a hole in it to keep the fire pit off the ground. It's made of some pretty crappy scrap wood from my jink pile, nothing fits right, nothing is square, but it doesn't wobble and it looks like I imagined it would. I'm proud of it.

Won't the fire pit get hot enough to burn it though?

I dunno. But it'll be fun finding out!

Eventually
You'll just get more heat!

Maybe a bit of aluminium tape around the inner edge might help. I don't mind a bit of scorching, the whole thing cost the grand total of 24 screws
Nah just call it done and you can get cracking with your chocolate fireguard.
Look, if it bursts into flames, then we'll call that lesson learned. Otherwise, shush.
It's one step up from Homer's anyway
It’s a win-win. You could have invented the world’s first self-fuelling fire pit.
Measure twice, cut once, set on fire.
Had to paint the newly plastered bathroom ceiling yesterday. I hated every second of it. Two coats of paint on so far, and it’ll need at least one more.
I have replaced a huge rotten mess, with two smaller raised beds.

Now to look at what I can grow.

Did you mist coat it?

I did, but clearly not very well.

even so, it's looking a lot better now.
Mimi Shed >>>>> Kovac shed
I genuinely think that those splashes of colour look great, super cheery and would be a nice focal and also talking point.

oh gosh yes... mine will be fire wood soon :)
Very low fence there, Kov! Do you like your neighbours?
Spent a few hours this weekend building an outdoor 'sofa' for the garden. Bloody solid unit.

You can't quite see the back left vertical, which makes the photo really upsetting because it looks like it's different on either end.
Oh, bugger I forgot a leg :)
Definitely looks like you need a leg up.
Will you be commissioning Mimi or Jazzy for outrageous bench cushions?
Anyway, is your fire pit still with us?

No, someone lit a BBQ on the next street and it spontaneously combusted
I like the idea of a fire pit, but wouldn't have one. Our neighbours used to have one, so we'd sit around their's on summer evenings, which had the advantage of not being up to us to tidy up the mess it made.

If it was up to me, we wouldn't have a barbecue either, but it's not and we do.

I'm such a killjoy.
I simply don’t understand people who don’t like setting fire to things.

There was massive trees which have been taken down. Hence the small fence.

I am replacing with either a 5ft of 6ft fence not decided yet..
Would you describe yourself as being on the fence about it?
In the middle of this job, but putting birds up in the craft room today.
