Whilst I've been cutting down my daily intake for my own sanity's sake, I just cannot comprehend what people still see in these people. It's not even like they're competently evil or people I disagree with but can respect.

Bring back the good old days of Michael Howard as Home Sec. At least he was a grown-up awful bastard.
I was listening to the radio this morning and No Surprises came on. And the
line "Bring down the government, they don't speak for us." of course resonated strongly. And it made me think about how furious(ly teenage) I felt about things back in 1997. But those really were the good old days, pre-millenial tension or not.
