Doctor Who Old Series Price Crash - 6.99

Loads of the old series of Doctor Who have been reduced at Play for some reason, but if you need to bulk out your collection, now's the time to do it apparently.

rock band (band in a box) for xbox 360 £60

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/252629/rock-band-in-a-box-instruments-edit/

for ps3 you have to buy the game aswell for £100 which is still a good price.

You have to buy the game separately for the £360 version, too.

sorry i think ive worded it dodgy.

for the xbox 360 you can buy the instruments only for 60 quid, and you have to buy the game seperately.
but for the ps3 you have to buy both ther band in the box and teh game for £100 to get a similarly good price.

Not quite as cheap but I just spotted on HUKD that you can get the 360 instruments from Tesco for £85.71:

Indeed, mine says "Was : £44.99" on it and it's certainly a proper Umbro shirt.

I assume they just offered to buy up all Umbro's remaining stock for fuck all in preparation for a new one early next year or something.

Amazon have got deals on HD-DVDs if there are any left that people haven't picked up for a few pounds.

Edit - after a quick look, I'm not convinced there's anything there that you couldn't already pick up cheap, but I'll leave it here anyway.

Edit - me again. :)

Tiger Woods 2009 on PS3, 360 & Wii - all £24.99 from hmv.

Also, I was in Comet today, and they were selling off 20gig 360 hard drives for 19.99. Which might be worth it if you're completely hard drive-less.

Even more arse, you can get 08 for about a tenner from play and asda (online, not sure about in store).
Also, 09 is 24.99 in Play as well.

What's the best price for Guitar Hero: World Tour for pre-order? I've come into some money, so I'm treating myself. :)

The "free bass" offer will probably mean that it's unlikely to be discounted, right?

Don't overlook the fact that the free bass is, in fact, the original Xbox 360 GH2 controller i.e. shit.

That's what I read the day of the announcement, but EuroGamer disagrees -- they say it's the same as the GH3 guitar.

Edit - although looks pretty solid to me.

I'd heard it depends if you're getting the PS3 or XBox version. GH2 didn't come out on the PS3, ergo no piles of white crap-o-axes lying about that they need to get shot of.

I've already got that piece of poo. I sent it back twice because I couldn't play properly with it - the Les Paul is far superior.

£40 voucher for Virgin Wines:

Go to: http://www.virginwines.com/amazon40

Code: AMAZONVOUCH
Password: WINEBANK

Caveat: You can't be an existing Virgin Wines customer, which makes it useless to me. The code is sufficiently generic so I assume there's no limit on its use.

Annoyingly enough, every time I've seen a Virgin Wines voucher, you have to spend double what the voucher's work in order to be eligible - so no getting a free case of wine worth £40.

Can't see anything like that on this voucher. My introductory offer was a £60 voucher, and I got 12 bottles, totally free, including free postage. Perfect deal.

You have to buy a case worth £80 to redeem the £40 voucher.

I'm a bit puzzled by this site. I've put together a case worth £87.73 and it's told me I'm £12.27 away from free delivery. Ok, I think, I'll find out how much delivery is, and then see if I want to add a few more bottles, or maybe swap some for some more expensive ones, but it seems to want me to enter my payment details without actually telling me how much it's going to cost? Isn't this a strange way to do things? ?:|

Edit - Ok, so it's giving me a summary after I've done that and before I confirm I want it. Delivery is 6.99, so I can get an extra £12 of wine for just over a fiver.

Unless I'm reading this wrong, then this is a Winebank voucher, and if you use it, then you're agreeing to sign up to winebank and deposit some money every month. Although it does say you can cancel it, and doesn't seem to give a minimum amount of time.

Definitely, if you've not played the Gamecube version. It's not as essential otherwise.

Hmm, that looks like a cheap re-release... not on sale until Oct 17? Is a budget line of Wii games about to be launched?

It is looking that way.

You can also get Umbrella Chronicles and Zack and Wiki for £14.99 from play.

Which is better Umbrella or RE4?
