Things like that kind of kick my socialist principles square in the trousers sometimes.

Frankly I'm jealous I hadn't thought of that first.

The thing is, any system of welfare (no matter how tightly regulated, or how many voice-stress analysis machines they have hooked up to the phones) can be gamed and taken advantage of. Cocks getting away with stuff like this are the price you pay for havigna safety net for all of society. This is something the Daily Wail doesn't seem to understand, of course, and they think we should just do away with the whole system and the support it gives a couple of million deserving people in order to deal with a few thousand cocks.

Frankly I think the system is worth keeping even if the cost is some alkies getting paid to drink.

Being 'in the system' at present, it's a pretty depressing existence, and no mistake.

Yes. I don't advocate throwing the baby out with the bathwater, even if there's a little nugget of poo in it. Erm. I hope you know what I mean. :S

MaliA, I've been in the system and a 30p ice cream from McDonalds was a weekly treat for me at the time.

Cheers guys. In a bizarre turn of events, I'm actually applying for the job I'm doing currently, but for more money and stuff. We'll see how it goes.

Nothing that exotic or cool Mimi, it's a monkey bowling set that I got for Christmas. Couldn't bring myself to damage them though so they just sit either side of the telly.

I only check it once a day or it pings every ten minutes, and then I have to sift out all of the 'what do you eat?' questions :P

"We're going to need to borrow you for a few hours today"
"Oh.. how come?"
"We need you to move a department"
"Can't that wait till tomorrow when there's two of us here and I can dress down for it?"
"No, it needs to be done today. Actually it needed to be done last Friday"
"Then why I'm being told about it now?"
I moved this department 2 weeks ago (again, on my own). If they ever make a live-action Dilbert film, I'm a dead cert to play Dilbert.

He's not an eppy though, he had a stroke, I dunno if that'd also do it. I only know about eppys doing it. Also y'know, most types of flid, but that's different *reaches thoughtfully for medical textbooks*

He's not bi-curious but he is on his second marriage - and she's quite a looker! You dog, Bret!

Yeah, flids and mongs do it. I shall try and flick his temple to see if he pitches a flid. Next time he's in Lichfield or Cank, obv.

Yay!

I lost my DS Lite when I was moving house and was worried that one of the old tennants had swiped it when they were moving out simultaneously, but it turns out that it had been left in its green bag inside the cab of the housemate's dad's van we were using. I'll have it back by the end of the week. Phewey.

Also, internet should be waiting for me when I get home. :D

Ah my favourite Jerry Lawler quote was when Jim Ross said that Owen Hart "has a huge heart" or something, to which The King replied "that's a medical condition, an enlarged heart. He ought to be careful" or words to that effect. Ahhhhhh....

They weren't laughing when he died.

Also, yay for nP!

The term commonly refers to someone who has suffered birth defects as a result of the mother having taken Thalidomide during pregnancy. I'm not sure of it's relevance in this conversation.

Abreviation of 'thalidomide baby'. Was a very popular 'comedy' insult in Holmfirth High School for a while when I was there, I'm ashamed to say that I used it a few times myself back then, though in my defence I didn't really grasp properly what it meant, and I assure you I have grown a conscience since then. Phew.

But still, dredging up unwelcome thoughts of less 'being excellent' times. :(

Still :(

Ooh! Just remembered again that I have my DS Lite back!

Now :DD

And just cancelled my old addy's service with Virgin, though I'll be paying this month's bill for not getting it done earlier, through entirely being unable to work out how to do so via the confusing Virgin-I-No-Want hidden area on their website. Plus, I was lazy.
