Couldn't you think of anywhere else to park your Mini Metro than in the middle of the track?

I just did the infamous 'lesbian' bit in Arse Effect.

Honestly, it was contrived as hell, but the ability to say 'Let's go again!' afterwards made me smile.

It certainly wasn't worth banning a game over a split second glimpse of a blue bum, though.

I've got my girlfriend's sister and the sister's boyfriend round this week. It's bad... We're going places all four of us, and I'm left out of everything because they are all speaking in a language I don't understand a word of. And they don't even try to talk to me, in terms of having a direct conversation translated through my girlfriend or anything. I'm not keen on meeting them again, to be honest.

Make up your own language and only speak in that - that'll show them!

1. There aren't any German courses locally. Believe me, I've looked.
2. Even if there were, I have no means of paying for them.
3. Even if I had the cash and a course, it'd be some beginners course. Even A-levels are too rudimentary to learn to speak a language.
4. I'm probably too old to learn a language now.

How to get good service and a discount from a cider stall at a country fair: be accompanied by fifty or so men with bayonets fixed and draw them to a halt in front of the vendor.

Of course, those of us in the ranks didn't get to partake in this or anything...

Actually, we did get a bottle to share. It was vile

It's at times like this I've been known to throw proper strops at my missus of the time. This could of course be why I'm currently single, but still, it might be an idea for you to voice your frustrations to the missus. I personally think it's extremely rude for them to be excluding you from conversation in such a way (unless they can't speak any English I suppose).

Printer update.

Remember I ordered a Xerox on Friday? Remember how they said it was OSX compatible? In fact I even phoned back to double check.

Well it arrived today and guess what, after lugging the beast up the stairs it turns out that it hates Macs even more than Bill Gates. This despite me phoning the supplier back to double check on Friday.

After some chasing, they phoned me back and agreed to take it back. They then tried to charge me 15 quid for the courier to which I told them they had stated categorically twice that the printer would work with a Mac. No way was I paying 15 quid when I'd doubled checked with them!

What I wanted them to do was to charge me the difference for the Mac model and do a swap. But they have to do a full refund and charge me for a new one was well.

I've ordered the Xerox 6130 which they promise hand on heart will work with a Mac.

The irony is that if they'd upsold me the 6130 in the first place with it's faster print speeds for only 20 quid more, I would have bitten their hands off.

It's enough to make you furiously angry. [CG Dimlie hint hint]

If I may indulge myself in my own, personal emo moment... ...I don't think I've had that many on this forum yet... ...tonight I feel properly fucking depressed. A whole new low. Entirely my fault, of course, which is probably why I'm so shocked at how utterly low I feel. I actually almost feel ill.

Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to drink myself into a coma. Thank you for listening! :D
