I've just paid £15.99 for Lego Rock Band on Amazon. I'm so going to add it to my massive track list on RB2 just as soon as it turns up, even though it'll cost me £10. I'm THAT into it.

I just got the Track Pack 2 for £7.99, and Monkey Gone to Heaven is fantastic.

It is a crime that where is my mind isn't on it.

I don't suppose I could borrow LEGO Rock Band on the 360 off anyone could I. I have legally acquired a spare code, but need the disc to do the transfer thing.

Oh dear... Look what I've gone and done

Asking Facebook peoples to help me get my favourite soundtracks onto Rock Band 2

EDIT: And yes to LewieP. I think my copy is arriving in a couple of days. I'm happy to let you borrow it unless you can't wait about a week or so. Let me know.

For the love of god. When will Harmonix understand that songs PEOPLE KNOW will appeal more than stupid, exotic metal tunes aimed at Johnny Rock Geek and his eight chums. Come on, Harmonix, cut us some slack here. I'm not a muso, I'm an average pop-charts avoider who loves a guitar riff as much as the next guy. Put on more popular songs. NOW!

So far, Lego Rock Band has been the closest thing to fun Harmonix has produced under the Rock Band label other than the Beatles Rock Band (which, thanks to its heavily restricted track list, only just pips Lego on this imaginary list).

You do realise that the Rock Band Network tracks are produced by the band or rekkid label themselves, right? And Beatles Rock Band is fucking shit because it's The Beatles.

Yes and no, respectively. Still doesn't excuse the lack of popular songs. Or songs I like. Me, and probably 10 other people. But because I like soft rock and pansy bands like The Barenaked Ladies, I get left out on the steps for other niche song choices. I can't complain too much though, my RB track list sits at 254 now. Cha-ching.

Rock Band does a lot better job of being 'casual' than Guitar Hero anyway. I like playing along to songs I like regardless of complexity. That is to say I don't mind them being simple just so long as I like the song.

While I agree that obscurity for obscurity's sake is a bad thing, there's nothing worse than when they put a song into RB/GH because it's a popular tune, when it's as interesting to play as "guess which shoe I'm not wearing".

To be honest, there's loads of stuff I'd buy for this in a heartbeat that will most likely never be charted.

Some popular stuff is good, but you've got Lego RB/Singstar/Band Hero for parties etc.

I'll be getting Sequestered In Memphis (and crossing my fingers for Lord I'm Discouraged at some point in the future) and the JoCo stuff.

This week's "proper" DLC is pretty good, too. White Stripes! Futureheads! Neil Peart.

Although saying that, there's a lot I haven't heard of too. It's a shame you can't play through a DLC song once to see if you like it or not.

The ones on The new Rock Band Network have exactly that feature. You can download a demo to try first.

Hmm, there must be something missing. I don't seem to have the urge to punch you in the face.

Maybe try saying it repeatedly whilst looking smug?

I'm gonna get the White Stripes tracks. Maybe Juke Joint Jezebel by (the very variable) KMFDM. I'd definitely get KMFDM's Megalomaniac if that was on. But it isn't.

Rock Band 3 "this holiday season". I'm on holiday in 4 weeks time, so I'm looking forward to playing it then.
