It also appears that if you are a pro lane swimmer you need a swimming cap, iridium goggles and after you do 2 lengths you stop and have a swig from your isotonic drink containing sports bottle.

I hate the CSA how bloody useless are they!!

They have had my bank details since April, but have not yet taken a payment direct debit yet.. Every month they don't take it I have to make a credit card payment to them..

So again no payment taken last week, I ring up to chase them (not that I should have to chase to pay), and have been told that they will default me if I don't pay by card, even thought it is there fault....

I am not sure what is best to do, pay by card and wait till next month to see if they take the payment OR do nothing (which means the ex won't get the money) and make the CSA sort it out...!!!

In a previous life, I worked at the CSA for a while.

The system (C) we were attempting to put in, was a replacement of a 7yr old system (B), which was a replacement for a previous 7yr old system (A).

There were still accounts in the queue waiting to get sorted out from system A...

Add to that the 250000 accounts that had some sort of manual action required, and the 700000 accounts that had to be manually transferred into another system due to trying to sync up with the jobseekers system.

How many staff do they actually have doing this work? A couple of hundred.

(all numbers made up, but the scale is correct, been too long for me to remember exactly)

None of this helps you of course. ;)

At the moment our placeholder names are:

Boy:
Akabusi Awooga Agbonlahor Hewitt

Girl:
Sauvignon Sauternes Semillon Hewitt

With the added advantage that they both give silly initials.

If you arrange the first initial of all my kids first names in a certain way it spells rose (if you do it in age order, you get the oesr, and if you add in mine and Pauline's in, you get eproms)

Oh and at school, there was a family called (Sky, Blue and Day), Blue once appeared on Paul Daniels Magic thing, where he took the mickey out of her name.
