I think I read somewhere 100 uses, but I can't recall where so that might be completely wrong!

It seems to have taken a while for me to get any recipes for gold stuff, but I'm currently saving up for the gold armour :D

I thought the same. Especially as I've only found about 15 gold nuggets in nearly a month of playing 8)

Guide arrived! According to It, Nook's Cranny only upgrades once. And no other shops apart from Able Sisters. I'm a tad disappointed with that.

Me too, but do you think there’s any chance gists just the game as released and maybe further updates will come? I don’t know if I’m just being a tad too optimistic, but they seem to have set up for possible future expansion (I spotted another door and roped off area near the sub and diving suit at the museum, so there appears to be one in each museum department).

Dunno. I suspect a heavy DLC schedule. Or rather, hope.

Let’s start a campaign. There’s never been a game with just one shop upgrade. I’d be surprised.

That'd go well with the caterpillar costume one of my villagers gave me just now!

I'll keep my eyes out for any more plants. On returning to my gaff I found one of my residents whacking in their house and learned how to make a Terrarium from them. So if you need that I can send to whoever I've visited before :)

I’ve got my shop upgrade. Is it that the item with the black price label is always very expensive?

I do so hope they make the shop a bit roomier.

The black label item is the more expensive item of the day, but I have still seen "cheaper" 6-8k items there. Most of the time it is 100k+

I’ve opened my gates for a bit.

I have my town how I want it, now. It’s not as ‘path-y’ as many, but I sort of like the big open areas, perhaps because I’m stuck inside? Anyway, my next target is my house. Going to feature a craft room, a kitchen, fossils, just things I love. It won’t be super-coordinated, just lots of ‘me’ things.

I think I have most of those, but will check later. I have received my guide today, too, but it is stuck in our quarantine station for a day or two!

I'm also trying to keep wild areas. I want to live in a forest not a city. Got a niceish balance at the moment and got 4 stars from Isabelle.

I’m on 4 stars, too, but I think I’m just going to let it happen incidentally. I look forwards to doing the house, but it’s just a case of looking out for items I’d like (which are mostly things in my real-life house) so could take a year or two...)

Just one would be super, Dimmers! Then I can just order more once I’ve got one! There’s a whole rainbow of them, so obviously I have to do something with that!

I opened my guide today. That is a hefty tome! Paper quality was better than I expected. Seems to only cover the game as released (no mention of Earth Day, etc). Earth day is Wednesday so surely that promised April update will be here soon. I was hoping today, but maybe Monday is more likely.

I have pink, purple and orange lights now, so my rainbow disco (or whatever it becomes) is slowly underway. If anybody else finds other Colorado I’d be super grateful if you could send one my way. Thank you!

I got it well before the number of days required. The only thing I was doing differently, maybe, was buying everything in the shop each day.

I hot notification of the upgrade on day 28 and the upgrade on day 29, but I suspect there’s more than that being figured in. As Dimmers said, he got his a while ago, but he also uses the shop more than me, I suspect (as in I only buy things that I really like and I tend to display, whereas I think Dimrill said he buys them to get them into his catalogue for later game).

I spent one day being completely free of debt, then was sweet-talked by Nook into taking out yet another loan.

Yes i upped my spending since yesterday, knowing that was the trigger in new leaf (5k, 50.k 5 mil or somthing).... so we'll see , i have spend 230k orsomethig at nooks/sisters, but maybe that should be just nooks then (in the comments someone suggests 200k spending is a trigger)...I sold for millions by now

Do you have all the fossils now? Or are some quite hard to come by?

When it gets to the last few, if you find out what they are and list them, I'd be happy to send them your way if I come across any first as I'm taking the whole game at a very leisurely pace.. not even had the KK Slider gig thing yet.

I think I must be at about the same point of completion. I’ll check to see if I’m missing any of those. The four I got today were all on there, though.

EDIT: I checked the list and I have all those. I bet we are missing the same 10...
