Sorry, gate is open now. It was shut earlier as I was putting soil down for flower beds. There’s a few of those viewing spots in the museum, Rick.

Mimi, I don't have white rose seeds but I do have some spare you could dig up :)

Re: houseplants - I have white & brown anthurium, cypress plant, floating biotope planter, mini cactus, Moss ball & yucca. I can also craft the succulent plant and potted ivy.

ETA: Mimi - my gate will be open most of this evening. There's a line of 4 white roses along the path towards the museum as you leave the airport which you can take :)

I can craft the cherry blossom, succulent and terrarium. I’d love a monstera and a yucca, will look out for them. I’m on now.

I have: Anthurium in brown and/or pink
Cacao tree
Cat grass (in blue or pink pot)
Fan palm
Mini cactus set
Moss ball
Yucca

I’d like one of those outdoor topiary things that I saw in DM’s town. What are those called?

Can i please order from Dimrill a Fan palm and Monstera and from Mimi a Cacao tree?
Would you like payment in equivalent bells or a trade for other things you are looking for?

I’ll send you one from the catalogue Vicky. Don’t worry about bells. Got a Cypress topiary last night from Jem’s, too, so have that for my villager’s house. Yass.

Edit: I’ve used the nook stop to have it delivered to your house x

Ooh another new benefit from visiting people's towns at least once: I can order from my Nook Kiosk and get stuff delivered directly to another island. Very spanky.

That’s the method I use. It’s quicker and you save bells as you’re not spending the (albeit minimal) bells on letter post to attach it to.

Rather frustrating morning as every time I’ve tried to construct a path I start running off in a different direction. I thought maybe it was the stick drift issue, but it is a) severe, b) not always in the same direction, c) only starts when I am making paths and d) stopped by turning off the game and restarting.

I assume as I am switching between path types I’ve got the left stick tilted, but I keep doing it today and I have to keep turning the game off and reloading it. Hopefully I’ve not built some muscle memory that is going to keep triggering it.

I must be misremembering. I was sure you could see fossils you’d obtained via the book catalogue. Is there no way to check this other than going to the museum?

D’oh! Why would they be there? Also, I have Australopithecus it turns out. For some reason I was expecting a full skeleton, but it’s the skull, isn’t it?

If after everyone has what they needs there was a spare anmonite I’d love that for my ‘home’, though by no means a priority as I have one in my museum.

I have a campsite and Tom Nook says I have to invite campers to come live on the island
is this necessary? I've got 3 animal people and Katie living there, does progressing in the game depend on more people?
(definitely not my first camper though at any rate, he was annoying)

If you use your Nook Miles ticket to fly to a remote island, there's often an animal visiting at the same time who you can invite.

It does. You have to take the first person who visits the campsite. You might also have to add another 2 villagers to get your island evaluation score up too.

Quite a long session, that. My Nooks was carrying a grand piano this morning and they were asking 260,000 bells for it. So I've been busy earning that plus the 150,000 I try for each day to keep my savings creeping in the right direction. And I thought the 134,000 for the harp yesterday was steep :S

The harp I sold back right away for... 100,000 less than I paid for it. That hurt. I'm keeping the sodding piano!

So how do you play, Dimrill? Do you buy things to get them into your catalogue without necessarily trying to collect (and keep) everything? In that case if someone else has a huge purchase and drops it for you to pick up to then drop it immediately does that log it in your catalogue?

Loading up my catalogue with everything I can find. Then if/when I get around to furnishing rooms I have what I want, rather than cursing that I should've picked up x or y when I saw it at Nooks. Which I did for every previous iteration. Never again!

I think they register in my catalogue as soon as i pick em up. The balloon drops are certainly there.

Nothing too exciting in the shop today, but the gate is open in case anyone wants to buy anything from it (or just nab a few cherries)

Does anyone happen to have cosmos in the game? In the short term a red Cosmo to make the garden table/cart with the flowers on. I think it just needs to be a picked bloom rather than a while growing plant. In the long term does anyone have a town selling cosmos that I can visit to stock up on seeds as until today it had completely passed me by that they were in the game.

Just one (red, Cosmo) flower for the cart, but I’d also love to come buy some seeds if anyone has a town selling them.

I hope you get Flick tomorrow then. Waiting an entire day with no selling is quite irritating. Why couldn't they leave the dropoff point active...

I’ve not got anywhere near to filling the 800 item capacity of my house, so I’ve got a fair while to wait until I’m struggling too much in that regard, luckily! Is your storage full of bugs, Dimmers?!

Just passed by my resident services and found my awesome Squrrrrl resident singing in front of it. It's the most wholesome thing I've seen this month.
