I'm thoroughly astounded that no one picked Curiosity Killed the Cat.

Oh man, some good songs and some good interpretations of the theme.

Blondie - Great song. Bit obvious, but does indeed nail the theme. Definitely in contention for the 3 points.

Foo Fighters - Not my favourite of theirs, but it's a good song, and made me laugh given the theme. Smart one.

Mickey Bubbles - Quite a nice song, but it's definitely a bit 'nice'. Doesn't really quite do it for me.

Esmerelda - Quite a fun song. Not massively sure on the tie in with the theme, but decent enough.

Transvision Vamp - Oh man, this takes me back! Quality song, and I like the interpretation of the theme.

Close between Vamp and Blondie for the 3 points... I'm gonna go with Tranvision Vamp. Blondie second, Foos third.

Blondie - Perfect choice for the theme, and a good song. Definitely in the points.

Foo Fighters - I've always thought the opening bits of the verses are ripped straight from California Girls. S'alright, I suppose. They all need to get their hair cut though, the fucking hippies...

Michael Buble - Lordy, my mother-in-law would love this. Seriously, it shouldn't be called Easy Listening when it hurts so much. Shut up, you jug-eared git.

Santa Esmeralda - Obviously whoever chose this is used to being stuck on hold for a long, long time. It's a pretty good choice for the theme, though. I like it.

Transvision Vamp - Oh, this brings back memories! Whatever happened to Wendy James, eh? Listening to it now, after twenty-odd years, it's... kinda crap. No, it's all kinds of awful. It really hasn't aged well at all. Okay, shut up now, Wendy.

Oookay then. Much to my surprise, Santa Esmeralda get the three, Blondie get two and the Foos get the single.
