Nightswimming is boring and didn't even deserve top 40. All the rest are okay though.

Looks like my comment about Nightswimming has given it quite the boost.

I think people just seem to like voting against you no matter what the song is. It's probably because you like Sisters of Mercy.

Grass Widow - Oh, I like this! Never heard of them before, but this is cracking stuff! There's very subtle elements of early REM here, which really appeals to me. Possibly my favourite "never heard it before" song of the competition so far.

Human League - Dull electronica. On an almost totally unrelated note, there's a fantastic remix of their new single that plays in my store from time to time.

James - I went through a brief phase of liking James (a bit) about fifteen years ago, but I just find them rather boring now.

REM - Mmm, one of the duller tracks from Automatic for the People, I'm afraid. I'd have gone for Find the River myself (which reached the dizzy heights of number 53 in the charts, or something like that.)

Stone Roses - Not the best Roses song, but still pretty good.

So, Grass Widows pick up the three, Stone Roses for two, and I'll give the single to REM.

More than likely. But then MOST PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS. Apart from Zardoz of course.
