I wouldn't want to go and see him there in case he accuses me of being "Yoko".

Syd Little owns (or part owns I think) and frequents a really nice real ale boozer here called the Strawberry Gardens.

My elbow and shoulder are hurty. I've quite badly strained them DIYing the garden. Thankfully, most of the heavy lifting is done (until the strawberries and raspberries have finished for the year anyway).

My actions were intended as a non-violent, egg-based protest

Throwing eggs at someone is "non-violent". Um, ok.

I don't like the term 'prom' to describe a school leavers' ball. Reminds me of 'Grease', and I hate that film.

Michael Biehn was in Grease. Also, Grease is great. Fool.

Oh Boy...comments excellence and lunacy ahoy.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricke ... ummer.html

Link is a small article on how Alison Mitchell will not be used to provide any commentary during the Ashes series. The article itself is fairly ho hum but it really comes into its own in the comments section.

Can you guess what a bunch of Telegraph readers reaction is to a lady commentating on cricket? Go on have a guess.

Oh, I see. Yes, someone at work has clued me in too. Turns out that what we used to call "school discos" are now called "proms" or some such bollocks like that.

Anyway, it appears to be a teenage boy who will be the main beneficiary here - who has now changed his Facebook cover photo to one of my car. I suppose I should be flattered :P

I have not watched Glee properly since sincethe end of series three. It had lost much of its venom and spark by then.

There's a C64 game in with those Spectrum games. I do hope that wasn't you!

Edit: I think it's Quattro Adventure.
