Are we going to learn anymore by not lynching Curio now than if we do?

I don't think so. I suspect some bad 'uns are in that list and he might be a bad 'un. So, I think it is worth it.

I mean: "we will learn more by doing this than not"

I believe the original thinking was that it could cause some people the vote differently if they didn't realise that it wasn't a valid vote, hence the rule.
Consider this a firm bottom spanking, young man! If anyone does it again I'll simply fix it for them.

I'm sick of this fannying around. The lack of any response from Curio is telling if you ask me. I'd rather lynch him and see what he is or isn't. I reckon he's a bad un. BUT IS HE?

Let's find out:

[vote: curiosity]

malia: 1 (zaphod79)
curiosity: 7 (MaliA, DavPaz, Mimi, Cras, sdg, Mr Russell, Saturnalian)

Not voted: 5 (bobbyaro, curiosity, gazchap, goddess jasmine, joans)

With 13 players alive, 7 votes are required for a lynch, and 7 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

Typos in Chicago are costly. In keeping with the tradition of killing him off before day 2, you decide Curiosity is never going to be part of the band, and cast him out to (whisper it) Milwaukee.

But what's this?! Ransacking his house you find a set of drums. Looks like Curiosity was a member of the band after all.

Investigating further, you find a list of songs, split into three categories; Country, Western, and Country and Western. Curio was a dirty Good Ol' Boy you spawny fucks and needed to go!
