It was nice day. The harvest was coming along nicely, and the sun was starting to go down, so wasn't as hot any more. You are one of several scientists who came from Caprica to Aerilon to investigate ways of increasing crop yield, and you're working way out in the middle of nowhere, enjoying the quiet after the bustle and crowds of Caprica City.
And now Aerilon is dead.
You picked up scattered messages on the radio - the Cylons have attacked the Twelve Colonies, and the human race is close to extintion. They advise survivors to go to their nearest surviving population centre - but Aerilon is mostly fields, the nearest town is hundreds of miles away. Instead, you head up to the nearby deserted military base, where you find other survivors crowded around a Raptor spacecraft.
Everyone is trying to get on, you're trying to get on, but a large notice taped to the Raptor (which, fittingly, is called Sweet Chariot) says that it is in need of repair, and can only take four passengers, plus the pilot.
The radio says that Cylon assault squads have been spotted on Aerilon, and are searching for survivors.
Time to make sure you're on that ship.
RULES: The survivors can vote for people they don't want to be onboard Sweet Chariot. As soon as enough survivors agree on one person, that person will take no further part in the discussion, and will deal with their impending death any way they choose. After someone has been chosen, people will get some sleep. Once there are only five people left, they will board Sweet Chariot and, assuming one of their number can pilot, they will head for the stars.
Players must play toward their epic win conditions (below) at all times. Once these become impossible, they should play toward their win condition.
[1] Number One Cylon You are the head Cylon, and you make the decisions about what to do. Your fellow Cylons are [NAMES]. While people are sleeping you can choose one of your fellow cylons (or go yourself, if you wish) and kill one of the survivors. Alternatively, you can search one of the survivors to find out what their job is.
[0-1] Number Three Cylon You are a Cylon, and you follow the lead of [NAME]. The other Cylons are [NAMES]. If [NAME] is killed or voted off the ship, other Cylons will look to you for orders. You know how to pilot a Raptor.
[0-1] Number Four Cylon You are a Cylon, and you follow the lead of [NAME]. If [NAME] and [NAME] are killed or voted off the ship, other Cylons will look to you for orders. The other Cylons are [NAMES].
[1] Number Six Cylon You are a Cylon, and you follow the lead of [NAME]. The other Cylons are [NAMES]. You are properly fit, and while people are sleeping (and assuming you aren't out doing other things) you can wake and seduce one person. This person won't do anything else until people wake up again.
[1-2] Military Pilots You are a military pilot. You know how to pilot a Raptor.
[1-2] Military soldiers You are a soldier. While people are sleeping you can opt to stand watch near them. Anyone who attempts to approach this person will see you and think otherwise. However, if they come looking for you it's not like you'll be hard to find...
[1] Military psycho You're a soldier. You have information vital to the war, and you need to be on Sweet Chariot, and now that anyone here could have learned your secrets, you'll make sure that if you are on the Raptor that no-one else is getting off. While people are sleeping you will take your combat knife and kill one person.
[0-2] Curious Scientists A scientist from Caprica, you've always been curious about things. While people are sleeping you can choose one person to search to find out what their job is.
[1-2] Pilot Scientists You are a scientist. You want to go home. You know how to pilot a Raptor.
[The Rest] Scientists You are a scientist. You want to go home.
Possible jobs: Scientist, Soldier, Neither
Action order: Seduce, Stand Guard, Search, Kill
Win conditions: Cylon epic win: All the Cylons leave on Sweet Chariot. Cylon win: At least one Cylon leaves on board Sweet Chariot.
Military epic win: All Cylons nuetralised, psycho nuetralised, less than five innocent human casualties*, at least two non-psycho military leave on Sweet Chariot. Military win: No Cylons or psychos leaves on Sweet Chariot.
Scientist epic win: No Cylons or psychos are on Sweet Chariot when it leaves, less than five innocent human casualties*. Scientist/Military psycho win: You leave on Sweet Chariot.
