Yeah, I've owned a PC Engine in the past, but don't have it anymore, so I didn't include it. I've included my Atari Jaguar on a technicality - I do own one, but it doesn't work (TOP TIP: Never use a Megadrive power adaptor with an Atari Jaguar because you can't be arsed to find the proper one and "they're all roughly 9v things anyway, aren't they?")

Is the Open Pandora any good? I've always liked the look of one.

I never really used it , at the time the emulators were very basic , and although MAME worked really well everything else was pretty much on par with the Dingoo or GP2X (despite being a *much* more powerful system).

I had it about a year and then sold it on for what I paid for it - right now I'm waiting for the GCW Zero : http://www.gcw-zero.com/ as something to replace my aging Dingoo but then again I did just pick up a 3DS and i'm really enjoying playing some portable games with real controls.

Hence the question at the top "What do you own?".

I also have a Neo Geo CD which isn't listed.. and is the Virtual Boy classed as a handheld? If not, I have one of those as well.

About once a year I say to myself "I would quite fancy a virtual boy" and I go off and look on eBay. Then about an hour or so later I come to my senses and realise that it would be a very bad idea.

Isn't a Wii-U just a handheld? Or a smaller version of the Wii or something.

No, not really. The controller only works in the same room (or the next room, if you have thin walls) and only when the console is switched on.

No problem - Nintendo have left consumers with a huge of confusion as to what the Wii U is and does. The product name certainly doesn't help matters.

They aren't the same thing. One was excellent and sold shitloads, one was useless and sold about half what the GX4000 did.

I knew someone who had a commodore sx-64 when I was much younger.

Which I was always convinced was some weird dream that had masqueraded as a real memory due to how stupid the idea was, until I found references to one recently.

I have one. You are right, it was a shit pointless purchase that cost me a fortune at the time, but I couldn't afford a GX4000 which was even more expensive.

IIRC the GS was £75, and the GX4000 was £99.

I got to play on one once - someone traded one and a load of games to the Gamestation I was working in. It's pretty staggering that at no point in it's development did anyone at Nintendo stop and ask what the fuck they were all playing at.

I actually like the Virtual Boy. I admit, it will give you a headache after a while but it is very clever the way the 3D works and it is real 3D.

Amazing for the time as I've recently had a go on a proper Virtual Reality machine and that wasn't half as good or 3D.
