Welcome to your weekly edition of Beex Weex news.
There are probably other important threads that have had some very important discussion in them this week, but the only one I am really interested in is the Nerd & Fire that is the BEEXBECUE at Grim Mansions this coming Saturday. It is going to be full of e roti joy.
The barbecue is all that I am really interested in this week, but as this is going to be a very short BEEX WEEX otheriwse, I'm going to just go ahead and pick a few threads and see what they are about...
Lego Batman 2 came out and has proven popular with people who like Lego, Batman, games, 360s and/or bargains (down to £25 in your local Morrisons) and that covers just about everyone on the forums so go and buy it now, it'll distract you from thinking about the BEEXBECUE, looking forward to going or commiserating not being able to go.
There was some discussion about
boobie eggs in the Beteo Cookbook thread. who puts eggs on burgers, anyway? Please say there will be no such thing at the BEEXBECUE.
There was a bit of chat about
teevees and whether Bamba's black and white 14" CRT with rabbit ears aerial was actually a 50" 3D HD all singing and dancing wonder box or just a telly. We're still not entirely sure. This probably also has something to do with the BEEXBECUE, but I haven't worked out what, yet.
And in prepping for the BEEXBECUE the knives are somehow still a topic of interest. Because what's better than nerds with fire?
Nerds with knives.
And now for the posts of the week... There was talking of:
LEGS:
BEER:
CUSTOMISING PRAMS:
JUICE DRINKS:
SLANG:
AND GLORIOUS THINGS:
New reports of activity have been coming in, but our roving reporter has been stuck in a flood, so if you have said anything news-worthy in the last 6 or so hours, then we might not have heard word from it here yet. There might be a few new stories on the 6pm evening news, if I can be bothered.
For everyone who will be there on Saturday - see you there. For everyone not coming - wish you were going to be there
Next week BEEX WEEX will be back with someone far better!
I've been your host, and you've been wonderful.
