In time honoured fashion I'm going to mention the grand comedy idea I had for this Beex Week which then fell apart due to a lack of time and creativity when it came down to it. The recent posts to the 'bad reviews' thread gave me the idea of pulling stupid reviews and updating the wording to make them relevant to the POTW nominations (or, at least, to vaguely insult the people involved) but then I completely forgot to start doing it and now I need to run out and get drunk so if you could all just act offended and/or amused that would be excellent.

So, threads of interest recently:

asfish gets a cute kitten and gives us a picture.
The new 3DS gets announced, reactions are mixed.
WTB has trouble with ASBO arseholes.
Grim... makes some surprising discoveries when cleaning his house.
Microsoft dip their toe in the non-console hardware market and we decide whether they're doing it right.

And now the POTW nominations:

Zardoz makes sweet from sour with bad puns.
Curiosity reminds Craster what he really is.
Malia proves that nothing is ever too obvious.
The Vision massively misunderstands the meaning of Father's Day.
Battlefield veterans close ranks against NervousPete.
The universe gibbers in terror as The Last Salmon Man gives us a nightmare vision for the ages.
Pundabaya teaches Metal Marketing 101.
Trooper demonstrates that he's terrible at all forms of poetry.

Thanks to DavPaz, Grim..., Curiosity, Malia and Zardoz.

So that's what I have to do to get Nommed... If only I'd known beforehand.

Good work!

Not enough Grim..., but good work otherwise.

Microsoft have been making non-console hardware for donkey's years

I can only assume it's being used for the 2012 annual review.
