Has the legislation that websites have to inform you about cookies kicked in now, then? It seems every website I've been on in the last couple of days has handily told me all about them and how they're stored.

Yes. It has.

I wonder if we're supposed to?

Wouldn't hurt. Bang a pic of the Cookie Monster up top for a couple of months. That'll sort it out.

What's this?

I've not really looked into it, figuring I will as and when it actually becomes necessary in any practical way, but does this mean we can just ignore it? The only cookies we regularly use are Google analytics.

I'm assuming implied consent from the people already on here, and there's plenty about them in the privacy policy (which you said you read before you registered):
ucp.php?mode=privacy

Probably not quite good enough, but closeish.

Speaking of which, I saw a Topic bar in the shop today, haven't had one of those in years! Plus Double Deckers are back in the snack cupboard at work, and i'm the only one who seems to eat them. Everyone else is some healthy fruit loving loser.

I'm always munching Double Deckers. But I'm also partial to a luxury fruit mix. Also, if you're feeling mean, you could hit your fruity snack people with some scary numbers. Assuming we're talking dried fruit and nuts - nuts are very fatty and depending on the oil supermarkets insist on covering the dried fruit in, they're also really fatty.

They're good for you, certainly, but you can overdo it to the point where you'd be better off just having a Double Decker if you eat more than a couple of handfuls.

Double Deckers are the best chocolate bar. Anyone who says otherwise is a big silly-bum.

I know, right!

It falls to me to eat them all in the office, so that they think they are popular and keep buying them. It's a chore...

I am torn between Double Decker and Toffee Crisp. It used to be DD all the way, but they changed the top deck a few years back to a lighter foam which allowed TC to gain a bit of ground.

Double Deckers are great.

I'd also like to add, Starbar and Drifter for consideration too.

My fave is still the mighty biscuit and raisen Yorkie though.

I find Yorkies are too angular. Those big chunks of chocolate practically pierce your cheeks when you're shoving them into your mouth.

Mrs Grim... bought me a Toblorone back from her holiday in Spain.

She also bought a tanned version of herself, which was nice of her. Now, if only I was going home again soon :(

They were amazing. They've replaced those round my way with the caramel ones (which don't even have real caramel in them). A massive thumbs down from me.

I almost put 'h', and decided on the capital H followed by a full stop for exactly that reason.

Credit-hogger.

The snack cupboard is pretty bare at the moment, all the fizzy pop has gone, i'm stuck drinking water of all things. No drinks, crushed Double Deckers, this is what happens when there is a 4 day weekend and a meeting in the office on a Thursday night.

Funnily enough, all the dried fruit and nuts are still left...

We don't get a snack cupboard, but every month a team gets £250 to spend on beer and nibbles for an end-of-month Friday afternoon "party", which is pretty cool.
