Hello.
I am having a BBQ on the 13th August.

Image

You are all welcome, and there's space for you all to sleep.

Do you want to come? Brilliant! Which weekends can't you do?

Here's how it's going to work:
Once I know who is coming, I'll email you each a "thing", like maybe "burgers" or "potato salad", and you have to bring enough of those for you and four other people (depending on numbers) with you. You'd also better bring alcohol, although there will be some there. I'll also provide stuff like sauce, cheese, bread, etc.

Obviously, you're more than welcome to bring other stuff to eat, too (in case you want to be a fillet steak show off).

Taxi's from Bedford train station are ever so cheap, and I'll be happy to collect anyone that wants to fly down to Luton (as long as it is in the morning, or I'll be busy).

Other halves are welcome, bring children at your own risk (mine is being sent somewhere else) - there's a climbing frame and slide and trampoline for them to play on if they want. Babies will be fine.

EXCELLENT PARTYGOERS:
MaliA and Mrs MaliA (Hotel / Tent)
Zio (Slumming it)
Craster and Mrs Craster (Hotel)
Bobby
Kern (Hotel)
Goddess Jasmine and Mrs Goddess Jasmine
Curiosity, Mrs Curiosity and little Interested ("private" spare room)
Mr Dave
Trooper and Mrs Trooper (going home)
Mr Chris :!:
romanista ("public" spare room)
Malabelm and Mrs Malabelm (hotel)

I may only select one weekend I can't make it?

:p

EDIT - Oh so NOW you fix it...

DOUBLE EDIT - I think I can do all of the August ones.

Can't manage the weekend with the 21st as that's round 7 of the Summer Series :)

I'm racing BMX again for the first time in ~11 years.

Was 3rd in the Open way back then, expecting to be consistently last from here on out :DD

What an excellent idea Grim... We used to do this around each others' houses as students, cheap and cheerful get togethers. :)

Brilliant idea, doubt I can make it though. :'(

Due to: Tinkers 2011 being on the 5-7 Aug, probably.

Plenty of room for tents in the back garden ;)

I didn't realise it clashed, though. Bugger.

I love well cooked flesh, however, as the wife will be shitting out a large living lump of it at (or about) the same time, I will most likely be a no.

Heh, has anyone mentioned '21th' yet? :)

Also: I'd love to come. And may do. As long as it doesn't clash with my friends' wedding. So few of my friends get wed that I probably have to attend this.

Next Monday. It's looking like August 13th / 14th, though.
It'd be great if you could jet in from overseas (glares at Taxalot).

Can cram seven on the drive, I'd imagine. More parking on the road nearby.
So "fine" is what I'm going for.

Ample. Although it involves lining the cars up in a field so that Grim... can jump you in his Bigfoot.
