Can we make a list of regular posters who don't post here any more and try to work out why we're losing so many "key players" so to speak? Can we get them all back for Christmas?

I didn't even realise until today that Dave and GovYard seem to have fucked off as well. Is that right or have they just not posted for a few days?

What happened to Jonarob? He was a dick.

Dave doesn't like the Christmas names, hopefully he'll be back.

GovYard took offence by the looks of it (shame, I didn't think he was the type to do that).

I'm not calling the deathknell at all! I've noticed some new users and that's great, but it is sad to see so many people who were major contributors to this forum don't post any more. Wouldn't it be nice to have the new users on top of the old ones instead of replacing them?

I noticed this the other day, seems to have removed me from XBL friends also; although she may have just changed her name.

her last post was that she felt ill and couldn't make Halo night. Doesn't sound like a flounce.

Remember she's "girl detective" and not shoesonwrong - however looking at my list she seems to be missing from there (she was on it before although since I didnt have Halo: Reach I've never actually played against her online)

She did also post recently on her Tumbler her ID so she may simply have thinned out people she didnt recognise from her list.

At least 20% of that list of people who have gone is down to STAG (11 out of 54). Also, your list is missing ComicallyImpotentRage, Grim..., as he was totally erased from time RemovedByRequest.

^ It's harder, on a small-ish forum, to get along all the time. It's like flat-sharing in a small hovel; there's not often the space to give your antagonists a wide berth when you need to.

Hey guys. No flounce, just very busy and ill by turns. If you were thinking of asking for a kidney stone for Christmas, er, don't.

I hit a limit on my friends list and dumped everyone except family and close friends and people I played with nearly every day. Honestly, once I got into trying to figure out who to keep and who to cut, there was a complicated system of gut feelings and last played with dates and how easily I recognized a name until I just said fuck it and cut the list to the bone -- a bit more than I had intended, really. I figured that if I were to play a game with any of you guys (or anyone else previously on my friends list), there would be a re-add and the list would sort itself back out. Sorry if that was a bit awkward.
