Oh are they? I thought they were £150.

Edit: Er... yeah £164.99 with Wii Sports Resort in most parts.

I'll see if it goes for £100 then drop it if not.

This probably isn't of interest to anyone, but I'm finding this morbidly fascinating.

The Sutlers Store used to be a major supplier of re-enactment stuff (my main ACW uniform was made by them, for example). They've recently gone under, and an attempt at reviving the company has foundered. For some reason, the old owners and the potential investor are having a Stu-style slanging match on the store's old website:

I find stuff like that fascinating too! A company I had previously been a client of exploded earlier in the year and there was massive fallout between the owner and about half a dozen of his employees across various forums - police involved, apparently quite serious fraud occurring, dozens of customers howling for their money back (10s of thousands of $s in some cases), inventory hidden in lockups, court cases cited, personalities attacked.

It was brilliant, I would point you to it now but as it ocurred in the US with their pest grade lawyers, the forums got coerced into deleting the threads! 8)

How the hell did we get 100 hits for the ACE Predicted Interest Curve?

Don't horse riding and fishing each kill more people per year than all the extreme sports put together?

That's, presumably, before you factor in their relative popularities, is it?

Horse-riding is quite dangerous compared to a lot of things. More dangerous than motorcycling, apparently.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that one in sixty horseriders don't die from it or every one in two thousand or so horserides ends in death. It's true though that many "extreme" sports aren't all that dangerous, at least not deadly dangerous. I don't know anyone who actually died or even got seriously spazzed up from skateboarding for instance.

Yup. Three day eventing (or, specifically, the cross-country jumping phase of the endurance stage) has one of the highest morality rates for sports in this country.

Yeah, I'm sure people find ways to make horse riding more dangerous but it appears there's no real way to make BASE jumping safe.

I think Crown Green Bowls also ranks up there.

How does one contact the Oxford Dictionary folk? I want them to add 'tnetennba' as 'someone who searches for the meaning of words which have been created solely for fictional use'.

There's already a website dedicated to that. tnetennba.net or .com or something.

I'll email those I know that work there to ask.

Or wait about 9 month until MrsA begins working there again.

I want this dick to have an ASBO from using the internet:

http://www.marknathwani.com/

2 bloody emails today, he just serially spams me. He even sends emails saying he's not spamming and he's got my details from a business card which almost certainly isn't true.

I could unsubscribe however I'm not convinced I wouldn't just validate my address.
