Blue skies are rubbish. They all look the same & you'll never see a pig with 6 legs or God's gaping anus in a clear sky. So... this fortnight's theme is CLOUDS.

As always you're encouraged to interpret the theme however you like, but if you do go out and photograph real live clouds in the wild you'll find loads of information about what species they are on The Cloud Appreciation Society's website.

Have fun, it's not every week you're encouraged to walk around with your head in the clouds.

Rules?
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
1. It's not a competition. You're only challenging yourselves & I won't be picking a winner.
2. Use what you've got. Your ideas & execution are more important than how good your gear is.
3. Lurkers will be frowned at, join in.
4. Funny/clever titles are encouraged.
5. Advice giving & asking for help is encouraged too. Some folk are better/more knowledgeable than others, share ideas.
6. You can tell people about this. It's not Fight club, if you know someone who'd like it let them know. After all the original photo challenge was one of the reasons I stuck around, it was something to be a part of while I got a feel for you lot :)
7. Really there are no rules, just try & stick with the theme.

I'll try and do one specifically for this, but that will require something other than utterly overcast skies. In the meantime, I love the clouds in this:

West Coast of Ireland. Very beautiful day and the beach was deserted. It was literally only me for as far as the eye could see and the Atlantic really is green.

7.16Mb! I think it's about time you learned about compressing images SDG ;)

I like the Jack o' lantern in the foreground.

I just went out for a bike ride to Blackpool and back and took my camera. Thought I'd get some pictures for this here thread. The clouds were rubbish, though. Properly shit. If the theme had been "brown and grey" or "shell suited cunts jeering at passers-by" then I could maybe have come up something.

:D That's a lesson I'd like to learn, I'm a bit uesless.

It's a bit creepy. The creepiest thing about it is I'm almost certain there wasn't one there.

I was about to start name checking my favourite photos from this thread so far but when I looked back I realised I like all of them, so a wee round of applause.

Eek! Wullie - that scary cloud-dick weirdly freaks me out, maaaan!

Also, I'm not sure if we shouldn't rule out putting up photos already taken. It's a bit hard to discern which is new and taken for the challenge, and what's been lurking out on a HD drive for some time. (Although there's some mighty old cloud pics to be sure ye've got there.) At least I think old ones should be spoilered and new ones posted sans spoiler, so we can see what's what. It's just a bit of a shame as some of you have mighty tremendous stuff that might cause people who want to take part think, "Pffft. Could never compete with that," and shrug shoulders and lurk instead.

Righto, here's mine taken on my way back from the cinema. Underexposed as usual, that's how I always seem to end up doing photographs. Maybe should have fitted in more cloud but wanted the foreground too. Still, it's the cloud that gives it the slightly apocalyptic feel.

They don't - they attach them. Just paste the URL straight into the folder window that comes up when you hit browse.

Here's one from me - not totally happy with it so it's not on Flickr, but I can't resist a good dilapidated roof top and the cloud blanket looked nice. So, um, here it is...
