Hopefully. RDR was superbly atmospheric on the PS3.

Still can't play it for more than ten minutes.

How come? I never got on terribly well with it. Lovely setting but didn't find it terribly fun or rewarding to play.

The music made me want to watch Firefly every time I played it. So I did.

This is exactly what I thought when I saw people taking about it on Twitter.

Related, I'm not sure whether I completed Red Dead Revolver or Gun. Both were very similar and came out around the same time. (I think)

My main memory of Red dead redemption is luring griefers up to the mountains to get mauled by bears and cougars. Glorious.

Mine was trying to get from A to B and constantly being attacked. It was more annoying than Far Cry 2. I got as far as a massive shootout in a castle thing I think before moving on to something else.

I loved it. It was basically GTA in the Old West but ended up being so much more.

I'd quite like to be mauled by a cougar

I agree with the hipster.

Although I do wish they hadn't entirely scrapped the sympathetic characters at the beginning for necrophiles, snake oil salesmen*, would be Trumps, etc.

* - who didn't try to sell me a lip towel or a hell cave. Minus points for realism.

I would prefer Rockstar Table Tennis 2 because it has Joans in it.

That wouldn't fit into my long-running series where anyone with a bald head and no beard is Joans.

If it's anywhere near as good as GTA Online then I'm in!

Man, it's going to take ages for us to build big enough winches and pulleys to get our horses onto the roof of the saloon.

Was hoping the release date would be Spring. Trailer on Thursday. Because it's a late 2017 release the next xbox console is tempting now.

I got to the Mexico border in the 1st one then lost interest. It was alright.

I'd rather have GTA with an Ennio Morricone radio station.

I played only a modest chunk of RDR before drifting away, but that was also true of all GTA games before V. And then V grabbed me by the balls and never let go, so I guess for RDR2 I'mmma getting on the hype train.

Also, I wonder if it's coincidence that Rockstar announced RDR2 at the exact time that the buzz around the Westworld TV show has reached nova-hot levels.

I can't really remember what the horses were like in Redemption - but by got they'd better be better than the dumb fuck you have to ride around on in Witcher III. Goddamn you, Roach.

A locomotive heist would have been awesome in GTAV. Locomotive heists always make me think of North and South though.

Once when playing GTAV a train stole Myp, and the truck he was driving.

I have lost count of the times that playing GTAV online with Beexers has left me utterly speechless, unable to do anything but bawl with laughter, tears streaming down my face as we play out yet another episode of high criminal farce.

I really should play more often.

I agree with Curio (apart from the playing with Beexers bit... I have an Xbox One). I've lost track of the times when I've been crying with laughter at seemingly silly things in GTAV online.

I'd try to explain some but they're all "you had to be there" moments... I keep meaning to edit all the best bits into one video but you know, time and all that.

Have you tried slipstream? One of the new game modes. It's team races on bikes, you have to go through the checkpoints close to eachother and can hit eachother off bikes using wrenches. It's super fun.
